yotsu. Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 June 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Yotsu mobile application (“the App”), published by Florian Charnacé (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Yotsu is a daily logic-puzzle game offering a set of puzzles each day, along with optional practice and statistics features. The App is provided for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and with the App Store Terms of Service of the platform from which you obtained the App.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Yotsu Plus and purchases

The App is free to download and play. It also offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, “Yotsu Plus”, which unlocks additional features such as themes, unlimited practice puzzles, and advanced statistics.

All purchases are processed and fulfilled by the platform operator — Apple via the App Store, or Google via Google Play — acting as the seller of record. Payment, billing, applicable taxes, refunds, and restoration of purchases are handled by that platform and are subject to its terms, not ours. Any refund requests must be directed to the relevant platform. “Yotsu Plus” is a one-time purchase and is not a recurring subscription.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its name, design, branding, interface, puzzle content, and underlying software, is owned by Florian Charnacé and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. “Yotsu” and “Florian Charnacé” are names used by us to identify the App and its publisher.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, or that puzzles will always be free of imperfections.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Florian Charnacé shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your statutory consumer rights, which remain unaffected.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short, Yotsu stores all data locally on your device and does not collect personal data.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence that apply to you.
